CSW Services

We're expanding our team to include Community Support Workers (CSWs) who will provide Community Centered Support Services (CCSS) right here at The Sutton Solution.

What is a Community Support Worker?

A Community Support Worker (CSW) is a paraprofessional who provides direct, community-based behavioral health support to individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions. Working under the supervision of a licensed clinician, CSWs help clients build the daily living skills, social connections, and self-sufficiency needed to thrive in their everyday lives — outside of a clinical office setting.

What are CCSS Services?

Community Centered Support Services (CCSS) are authorized under New Mexico's Medicaid Centennial Care program. These services are delivered where clients live, work, and spend time — in their homes, neighborhoods, and communities — making them a vital bridge between therapy and real life.

What CSWs Provide

Skills Training

Helping clients develop coping strategies, emotional regulation, and independent living skills.

Community Integration

Supporting clients in accessing resources, transportation, employment, and social activities.

Crisis Support

Providing in-the-moment assistance and connecting clients to appropriate care.

Goal-Focused Coaching

Working alongside clients on individualized service plans developed with their treatment team.

Natural Support Engagement

Helping strengthen the client's broader support network including family and community.
